Coke Launchpad:
http://www.cokefridge.co.nz/ has the following info:

About Launchpad

Now in it's 2nd year Launchpad is a an initiative brought to you by Satellite Media, The Edge and Coke with the aim of launching previously unsigned New Zealand musicians into the stratosphere. If you've been playing together for a couple of years and feel that you're ready to take the next step but don't know how - Launchpad could be the kick-start you need.

How it works:
There'll be four rounds of judging throughout the year with all genres of music in with a chance to win. Three finalists in each round will be chosen by a panel of music industry judges; the winner in each round will be chosen by a public vote conducted over the internet at cokefridge.co.nz.

Once you have entered your song, unless you inform the judges otherwise, it will be eligible to compete in all subsequent round i.e. if you enter in time for the first round but do not win you will also be in contention for rounds 2 through 4.

What you win:
Each of the four winning entrants will have a music video produced for the track of their choice, make a live appearance on Top Of The Pops, debut the new video on Coke New Releases on TV2.  Get a day in a recording studio to re-record the track for radio, feature on the Edge Playlist and appear at Edgefest 2005, plus  feature in a profile in Rip It Up magazine and get a helping hand with PR to introduce your music to radio and the recording industry.

Closing Dates:
Round One.
Entries close 16 June, 2004. Voting closes 5 July 2004.

Round Two.
Entries close 11 August, 2004. Voting closes 1 September 2004.

Round Three.
Entries close 13 October, 2004. Voting closes 01 November 2004.

Round Four.
Entries close 1 December , 2004. Voting closes 20 December 2004.

What to send:
A brief biography [including a photograph of the band] A CD with the song you want a video to be made for.

Where to send it:
Launchpad
c/o Satellite Media
PO Box 90736
Auckland Mail Service Centre
117 Victoria Street

Conditions
The decision of the judging panel is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The final video becomes the property of the artist.
The winner in each round will be judged from three finalists decided by the judging panel, and then by public vote conducted over the internet on cokefridge.co.nz.
Launchpad is open to any New Zealand band or musician who has not previously received funding from NZOA to produce a video and has not been signed to a major record company.
Any of the prizes may be removed from the list or substituted with an alternative prize.
The video will be directed and produced by Satellite Media; with the creative treatment decided in association with the musician/s.
You may only enter one song per round; if you submit a demo tape containing more than one track please specify which one you are submitting. Please note that entries will not be returned but will stay on file at Satellite Media Group.
