The one below is the design for the Logo, and it can also be as a print on white t-shirts (not everyone wears black Angry)

Also to use it as Letterheads for the company

This was a logo and Slogan I came up with RBG stands for Rock Below Ground so naturally I thought this fit well...

p.s let me know what you think of the design (basically, would you buy it??If not, why not, etc?)

Thanx heaps guys

Hey, Welldone Ollie.
Looks like you've got your merchandising pretty much sussed  Cheesy

I was thinking the "Get Buried" slogan could be extended to include the fact you are promoting music - perhaps "Get Buried in the Music" or "Get Underground with Music"  or "Digging up Great Underground Music" (assuming that is what you are into), so that it relates to what you are doing perhaps? Just a thought.  Cheesy
But then again, I like the succinctness of  the two words "Get buried" too.

Awesome stuff there!

Cool Olli.  Looks like all those late nights are paying off.

With the t-shirts we need a one-colour print to do the free printing thing, so keep that in mind.

Of course, you can have the full colour thing, but it would cost you in the printing.

But really cool.  Just e-mail me the one you want, and we can go from there.

Thanx Dragonorchid, i liked those ideas!

10Zero, thats kewl, I have a black and white version of the first t-shirt print design. As far as doing color prints, how much extra would it be?

For things like, the caps, beanies, etc. How much to emboss a logo like the ones on here? just as a rough estimate per cap...eg, not incl the price of the cap/beanie etc, but just for the embossing of black on white, or viceversa (wouldnt use alot of colors with the embossing).

Cheers heaps for the input

Yeah those late nights seem to be doing some good Smiley (although i am incredibly tired...gutted...oh well Smiley)

Hey Olli,

Send me via e-mail your t-shirt design for the one colour print.

Also, send me via e-mail the coloured version- then I can quote exactly.

Then send me via e-mail what you want on the caps.  By embossing, do you mean embroidery?  Or a tone-on-tone design?  Send the logo and then I can look at it and get a clearer idea of what would look the best.

Wheww!

Anyhow, danielle, Ill send you an email with them all attached and a description of how I think we could use them (as in, what they might beable to go on, etc). Then we can sort it out from there.

Alright, heres the deal

Ive got the first few steps taken care of as far as the company goes.

Ive set up deals with merchandising (sort of!!lol, thanx again Danielle)
Recording studio(s)
Print and Press of cds
and currently looking into the Distribution side of things.
Either way, the important part has been taken care of

The company is also now registered (just waiting on all the legal documents to arrive). Then I can open a business account at the bank (got the $200 opening balance aswell!!)

Sold my xbox to get atleast a few hundred $ starting capital. hahaha

What I really really really need now is someone with some marketing/business skills. Like, someone that knows the ins and outs of running the business and getting it to a profitable state. Does anyone know someone that would be keen to get in on the idea that has an sort of experience or expertise?

Ive got alot of ideas for different marketing strategies, events, etc, etc. Things that could be awesome for both NZ music, and skateboarding, and also for anyone involved.

Its just being able to organise them and manage things accordingly that I dont have the expertise to do.

So if anyone knows someone who is looking to do something different, maybe even groundbreaking as far as crossmarketing, etc, is concerned. Please give them my details!! Or if you guys are keen to, let me know!!!

Cheers heaps as always
Luv 2 u all

All that info is really helpful, thanks dragonorchid.

I've been thinking about this kind of stuff for a while now for my band Trial By Fire, and this is just the kind of info I've been looking for.  We're planning on recording an EP in the next few of months, so as well as considering this business info, we'll be looking at the Rock Factory as a strong option for recording.

Also, 10zero, any chance I could get a copy of a band member agreement so I know what's involved?

Thanks everyone   Huh

Sorry I was so slow in e-mailing you the agreement, TrialByDrums.  I've been working hard and not having much time on the net.  Sent you the agreement via e-mail.
