I just saw this area, no idea how long it has been here...Thanks Michelle!  Sad

I guess this can be the place to ask dumb questions about why your guitar doesn't work properly or what would make it better etc...

Krisite has been working/learning with me for a few months now, so she can answer all the questions for which the answer is "Learn to play properly, moron!" and anything involving DOOM!!  Shocked

Coolness.

Cool. The one I have has just been claimed, but I can always order another one when you're ready. I just finished this guitar which has one in it. Very harsh/bright/nasty sound compared to conventional humbuckers. More about cutting through the high gain mush than meaty chugging rhythm, so good to balance a dark, fat sounding guitar.

Looks nice, I know Roob wants a 7 string warloc gat, but my god the PRICE ! and then theres shipping, may have to be a bit later me thinks . Also he is makeing a gat out of an old cut down gat so it looks like a plank of wood, so far its looking good, maybe when its done Ill put a pick up but dont hold your breath on anytime soon as its been a project in the makeing for a few years now. Hey Ash. Have you played on a SH-5 or SH-6?
I heard they are awesome for lead tones? Would you recommend them?

Cheers  Shocked

Yes indeed. They are both good lead pickups and are quite similar to each other. The SH6 Distortion is probably the better one for stage use with high gain levels. SH5 has a bit more low-end which makes the mids seem less. Perhaps more suitable for grunty rhythm playing out of the two.

I prefer the SH6 for lead, but it depends on the guitar you want to put it in and the sound you want.
