Salad...whats that?  There's actually heaps and heaps of food out there that isn't meat.  It's vegans that have to live on salads.  I was vegan for a year once, and I missed pizza so badly I almost went insane.  I'm actually one of those evil people thats says they a vegitarian, but eats seafood, and eggs, and is hated by the true 'purebreed' vegitarians, who only eat salad.  I only started eating seafood a couple of years ago, when I was stuck on a dive boat for days, and everyone ate my pasta meals on the first day, and so I had to learn to like seafood or starve.  And now I'm addicted to it, but I still feel guilty about eating it.

Well, thats my life story.

Yeah, half arsed, but I have been a half arsed vegie for 22 years, which gives me a little credibility I think.   I've never eaten another warm blooded creature.

I like oysters, but I think scallops are the nicest shellfish.  They're so sweet and good and yummy.  Mmmmm.  Want scallops now.

Spirulina is really good.  Although, one of my friends once spilt it in my car on the way to the beach, and by the time the car had sat in the sun all day, when we got back in the car to go home.........god the smell was so bad.  It was definitly in the top ten worst smells I've had to smell in my life.   Angry

I think scallops are best just lightly pan fried in butter with a dash of lemon, or even raw.   Cheesy

Mmmmmm  snapper.   Crayfish is really good too.  There's that ad on TV, where they eat crayfish out on the boat, and it always drives me nuts cos cray is too expensive for poor ole me.

Have you tried Kina?  I have tried it a few times, apparantly it's an aquired taste, but it always tastes like putrid rotting fish to me, and smells just as bad.

I'm not a big fan of crab, but crayfish is yummy as.  Right now I'm eating seaweed crackers cos all this talking about seafood is giving me cravings for it.  Seaweed crackers are the closest thing to seafood I have in the house at the moment  Smiley

And those Sa Ka Ta crackers have a very catchy song on the ad.  I find myself singing it everytime I eat them.  And they're great with Sweet Chilly Philly.  Mmmmmm.  THe sweet chille philly ad is lame though.  [see I'm vaugly keeping on topic here by dint of great effort!]   Smiley
