I really liked the Labirynth <sp?>. Liked the scene with the funny guy with a cup, and a creature stuck to his head ("It's so infuriating being your head") and the talking door knockers. Some really cool effects, and wanted to dress up at fancy dress parties, like the lead actress in that masquarade scene... Jennifer Conolly is her name (I think)?

Yes that was a good film.
But as far as favourite childhood films go I would have to say Transformers the Movie, the fight scene where Optimus Prime takes on Megatron at the beginning of the film was one of my favourites.
... or the Princess Bride, that film was just a classic just waiting to happen. I mean it has fencing, fighting, chases, escapes, torture, true love, miracles! (I'm sure there is something that I'm missing)
Thats my $5 worth (2 cents just doesn't cut it anymore)

The Omen Dawn of the Dead
Yeah, I had THAT kind of childhood.
Princess Bride was class, though..."My name is Hugo Montoya, you have killed my father - prepare to die..."

Hell yeah, who could beat that 80's thrash power metal soundtrack.

Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Mary Pop...wait...not THAT one...But the first 3....definately...and Willow. The bestest film ever. Watched it the other day...so many crackup parts that you dont notice as a kid and its still a great film. Rivals Star Wars Eps3 for special effects i reckn.
And lest we forget; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Railway Children, Swallows n Amazons, The Coutts Club...all classic films I rection.

I remember it being a Friday, the first time I saw Labyrinth, and I was 6 years old. I now have the DVD, and it's still the sh*t. The Neverending Story was also a favourite. I always thought Falkor was a big flying dog, rather than a luck dragon. Transformers(my fave was always Omega Supreme), The Three Caballeros, The Three Amigos and watching Honey, I Shrunk The Kids while eating ice cream. So many memorys.. (sigh)
